Sometimes it’s hard not to be jaded in the wine and food industry. People who work hard, pour their heart and soul into their businesses, and generally work with authenticity and integrity rarely catch a break in the ye of public opinion. There is, after all, a lot of money to be made by buying and selling Good PR.
This is one more reason I was ecstatic to see one of my favorite LA restaurants at the top of Esquire’s Best New Restaurant list. Score one for the little guys… and for everyone who loves a little Italian authenticity!
