The Shake Shack is a little roadside joint off Pacific Coast Highway, along the stretch of Laguna Beach known as Crystal Cove. Where else can you stop for a hot dog and enjoy this kind of scenery?
The Shake Shack is one of those cheesy places that serves seriously un-fancy food, and no wine. However it’s in my hometown, right down the road from a stretch of beach where my husband and I had our first date. I have a soft spot for this place, and the view is unparalleled.
In the spirit of the season I would have to give thanks for my truly amazing husband and family, as well as the opportunity I have been given to do what I love; to continue learning about and promoting Italian wine.
